Wrongwroks rock some new designs

Tuesday, July 22nd, 2008

Wrongwroks is a brand that loves playing on the possibilities of making mistakes. In a computer-driven world that expects accuracy and perfection their unique concept of fashion is like a breath of fresh air. And the new designs featured on urbanretro.co.uk uphold their ideas on creating a twisted counter-culture. The new Copywrong T-shirt encapsulates all of Wrongwroks beliefs in one smartly subversive print. It’s bursting with spelling mistakes, grammatical errors and a messed-up syntax that all make a mockery of the official language of copyright. This cutting-edge humour is carried over on the Robob T-shirt, where a robot character consists of shapes that are seemingly out of place. Wrongwroks also couldn’t resist the opportunity to create a cartoon clash between Disney and the Simpsons, which is revealed in the Marge vs Mickey and Homer vs Mickey T-shirts. Go online at urbanretro.co.uk to revel in all Wrongwroks’ pop parodies!

UARM Unique New Designs

Saturday, July 12th, 2008

With their individual, artistic imaginings of popular culture themes, UARM have been making waves on the fashion scene. And you’ll be swept away with all the excitement too when you view their new designs at urbanretro.co.uk. By collaborating with the world’s most exciting artists, UARM (otherwise known as Urban Arts Research And Marketing) have created a new collection that is distinctively diverse. For a dramatic print with a pop-art flavour look no further than the Shepard T-shirt by the respected urban artist Faile. Then there’s the paint-drip effect Smiley Face design and the old-skool sketched style of a zoned-out character in the Stoned T-shirt. Rock culture gets in on the mix too, with an etched retro rendition of Led Zepplin. Visit urbanretro.co.uk to see what other forms of entertainment get the UARM treatment.

Top New Designs by Terratag

Friday, July 4th, 2008

Terratag have taken their bold anime-inspired style to awesome new heights! Fresh from their London-based design studio, we’re proud to present Terratag’s latest Collection of T-shirts at urbanretro.co.uk. As always they’ve got their eyes firmly fixed on Japanese culture alongside urban art and quirky, cutesy cartoon images. Bubble-shaped bear characters make guest appearances on two of the new T-shirts, and they show what it means to “feel the music”! There are also several stencil shadow prints featuring intricate, intensely detailed mech robots. Bright green neon graffiti is sprawled across the Robo-Graf t-shirt, in a combination of Oriental influences with the nu-rave craze. With such a culture clash of up-to-the-minute styles, it’s no wonder UK’s hottest bands and DJs are into Terratag too
