New brand Play Nice is the one to watch this season. You see, it’s the Mr Jago connection that’s got us all excited. A founder member of the Bristol-based Scrawl collective, he’s now pushing things forward in fashion too. Never one to be boxed in to a single specific style, his work is a fusion of manga, quirky cartoons and abstract influences. This unique combination comes across in each and every one of the designs he has created for his Play Nice Collection. From the darkly comic Dynaman character prints to swirling paint-splash doodles and the mashed-up map of Tokyo – this is art with a distinctly urban flavour.
