GICLEE PRINTS
What is Giclee?
Giclee is really an elegant word for a sophisticated form of ink-jet printing. Technology combining computer power has resulted in a technique suited to printing on high quality artists papers with a capability of producing a resolution of 1440 dpi, in other words, much finer and sharper than conventional printing.
Pigmented inks have been developed which are extremely stable and have been tested to provide 75 Years light fastness. Extremely fine droplets of ink can be placed on heavy water-colour paper, artists canvas or board using jets which have been developed for use in high-technology industry.
What Paper Is Used?
We use very high quality 330gsm Somerset paper for all prints. This produces a stunning print result because of the quality of the paper combined with the printing techniques.
What Is The Delivery Time For Art Prints?
Please Allow up to 14 days for delivery of your art print.
Will The Art Print Get Damaged In The Post?
No it will not. All Prints are professionally packed and sent in a wide diameter thick carded postal tube. This will protect your print and if your print is somehow damaged in the post we will send out a replacement print. However you must contact us within 72 hours to report a damaged print.
FRAMES
Why are the frames so expensive?
They may appear expensive but the cost includes labour and all additional shipping costs. Each Frame is hand made especially for the print. We also offer prints without the frame.
Can I choose a different colour frame?
Unfortunately at this moment we are only offering Black Stained Wood Frames. This may change in the future.
What Is The Delivery Time For Framed Art Prints?
Please Allow up to 28 days for delivery of your art print. This is because all prints are hand framed.
Will The Frame Or Art Print Get Damaged In The Post?
No it will not. All Frames are professionally packed and sent by secure delivery. This will protect your frame and print. but if your frame or print is somehow damaged in the post we will send out a replacement. However you must contact us within 72 hours to report any damage.
